FARAH means JOY in Arabic.
Our purpose is to build a future where our children take pride in their Arab heritage—where they feel safe, confident, and empowered to share their culture and celebrate their roots.
FARAH, Foundation for Arab American Heritage, envisions a future where the Arab American identity is associated with joy, and centered around accurate and empowering stories.
FARAH’s mission is to bring people together to celebrate the joy, beauty and diversity of Arab American culture, educate about heritage and contributions, and advocate for representation of Arab Americans to achieve a more just and inclusive community.

➢Loyalty to family/family oriented
➢Importance of food to bring people together
➢Love of life celebrated through music and dance
➢Creativity, inventiveness, and intellect exhibited through art, literature, and film
